A number of years ago my Mother-In-Law gave me a Rag Rug as a gift. I loved the combination of colors and the construction. It was not until I was at a local craft show that I learned it was crocheted. I immediately came home and began experimenting. Although my back ground and education is in line design, color, tailoring and sewing, my love is making and creating Rag Rugs.

I use new and recycled cotton/polyester fabric. This combination is the most durable, long lasting and easy to care for. The strips of fabric range from 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches wide and are securely sewn together by machine. I recommend washing the rug by machine and air drying while laying it flat.
Each rug is unique, and has been a joy to make.
